“Hey ChatGPT, I just lost my job and my employer’s health insurance— what do I do? Also, how do I make cookies without vanilla extract? And how tall is Ted Danson?”

In a single sentence (or three) you asked the collective knowledge of the internet to comb through decades of information and find exactly what you were looking for. Seconds later, you’re presented with real, critical information. Plus a fun fact about health insurance. With AI, we have nearly the collective knowledge of humanity at our disposal, and we only have to know how to wield it.

By now, most of us have used ChatGPT to ask a question or two, but have you really been using it to its full potential? We'd wager you haven't.  Every day, we're learning new ways to boost our workflow, enhance our communication, and plainly save time.. What better way to spend our newfound freedom than by bringing these solutions directly to you.

Worklife:

1. ChatGPT Prompt for Rephrasing Emails

Are you one passive-aggressive “per my last email” away from being fired? Let ChatGPT help. You can actually write whatever angry email you’d like, no holds barred, and simply plop this at the end of it:

“Please rewrite this email in a diplomatic and friendly way so that it can be sent in a work context”

This is like the opposite of Obama’s Anger Translator, and gets you the dopamine hit of pouring your sadistic heart out and a muffin basket from Susan in HR? Talk about a win-win.

2. ChatGPT Advanced Voice Mode

Enter Advanced Voice Mode—available with a ChatGPT Plus subscription—which lets you talk it out with ChatGPT like it's a multilingual, emotionally aware friend who actually listens.

This feature can be used as a stream-of-conscious sounding board to get everything out there. Your words are transcribed in real time so that after you're done ranting, er-- ideating, ChatGPT will create a beautiful summary.

"Transform everything I just said into an outline with clear action items and organized by topic"

For anyone that likes to talk problems out, or who does their best thinking out loud in the shower, you’re not alone! (We mean that emotionally. If you’re physically not alone in your shower, that’s another kind of blog.)

3. Otter AI Tool & Other Meeting Transcription Tools

In this era of Zooms upon Zooms, Otter AI’s transcription service is a game-changer. Otter is an AI meeting assistant that not only records your meetings, but can transcribe and summarize conversations. It gives a summary of your meeting, action items, and a breakdown of how frequently each participant spoke if you want to feel embarrassed about how long-winded you were when talking about your visit to San Antonio.

There’s also an incredibly useful AI chat feature where you can ask specific questions about the transcript.

“Write a follow up email to Lana,”
“What were the goals for next quarter?”
“Why hasn’t Dave visited San Antonio?”

Real life otters famously hold hands as they sleep, so imagine this otter holding your hand as you dream up new possibilities you now have time to pursue because you’re not massaging your cramping fingers after frantically scribbling notes for the hour-long meeting.

Ain't otters adorable?

4. ChatGPT Summary Extension

We highly recommend this free Chrome Extension that uses OpenAI technology (or DeepSeek if you like to live life on the edge) to quickly summarize web pages, articles, or YouTube videos. It’s a huge time saver if you don’t need the nitty gritty details of a website, you’re trying to decide if a particular article will give you the information you’re looking for, or you get distracted by YouTube videos at 1.5x speed because their voices get just a little squeaky.

You can use this on almost anything - except this blog post, because then you’d miss all the funnies.

5. AI Image Generation

Got an idea but no designer? AI’s got you covered.

Tools like DALL·E (built into ChatGPT) and Canva AI can turn simple text prompts into professional-grade images, diagrams, concept art, and visual explainers. Canva is perfect for pitch decks, reports, and all kinds of templates with AI image generation for background elements and assets. Instant background removal and AI-powered smart suggestions.

DallE is fantastic for switching between text and image and iterating. For example, you can use DallE to visualize Profit & Loss documents with charts and then motivational posters when you start feeling depressed about said chart.

DallE is perfect for brainstorming sessions, or when you need to show rather than tell.

“Create an infographic showing the growth of renewable energy sectors.”
“Visualize a futuristic webpage advertising our latest service offering.”
“Generate a diagram of our customer’s user journey.”

Sure, it can still make a “lizard teaching a Peloton class,” but it can also deal with real issues.

A cartoon of a lizard teaching a peloton class full of women. The lizard says in a speech bubble 'push it ladies, no mercy!' A photoreal image of a lizard teaching a peloton class full of women. The lizard says in a speech bubble 'push it ladies, no mercy!'

Or it can just make the insane stuff look real.

Personal Life:

6. ChatGPT Prompts for Workout Plans

Want to get swole but not sure where to start? Start here. ChatGPT can generate customized workout routines based on your fitness level, goals, available equipment, and time.

"I'm new to the gym. Can you suggest a beginner-friendly routine?"
"I’d like to do a pull-up. I can bench 100lbs and I have a shoulder impingement. Can you generate a three month plan to help me accomplish a pull-up?"
“Check out the form of my pushup in this picture, am I doing something wrong?”

Caveat: ChatGPT can do a lot. It cannot spot your bench press. Yet.

Double caveat: ChatGPT can hallucinate, so one of the most important exercises? Exercising caution.

7. ChatGPT Prompt for Style Advice

Unfortunately, the number of people that want or need style advice is far greater than the number that will fit onto the new season of Queer Eye. ChatGPT could never be Tan France or Jonathan Van Ness, but it could give some pretty legitimate style recommendations. You can upload a photo of yourself and, if you give the style you’re going for, ChatGPT can give you trends within that style, recommendations for stores or businesses that cater to those trends, even specific links.

After attaching an image, try these prompts:

"Here's a photo of me. I'm aiming for a more polished, professional style. What current trends suit me best?"
"Based on my picture, could you recommend some brands or stores where I might find outfits that fit my aesthetic?"

8. ChatGPT Meal Planning Prompts

You’ve got half a zucchini, 3 eggs, and 5 different types of mustard. What’s for dinner?

AI can help you:

  • Plan meals on a budget
  • Build recipes based on what’s already in your fridge
  • Adjust for dietary restrictions or nutritional needs
“Can you make me a vegan meal plan under $75/week?”
“I have salmon, broccoli, and quinoa. What should I cook?”
“Attached is my latest bloodwork. What kinds of food should I eat to supplement my deficiencies?”

9. ChatGPT Hype Man Prompts

Sometimes, you don’t need a tool. You need a hype squad.

Ask ChatGPT to be your cheerleader:

“Convince me I can do this presentation.”
“Write a pep talk for cleaning my apartment. In the style of Coach Taylor from Friday Night Lights.”
“My ex reached out to have lunch and I still haven’t replied. What should I do?”

Yes, it’s corny. But corn is powerful. It’s in our food, our fuel, our metaphors—and now, in your motivation.

10. The Final Tool: Whatever Just Launched Yesterday

Here’s the truth: this list is probably already outdated. By the time we hit “publish,” there’s likely a hot new AI tool changing the game yet again.

So instead of closing with one more product suggestion, we offer this survival strategy: stay current without going nuts.

That’s what we do! Here are a few reliable sources we found that separate the helpful from the hype:

  • Ben’s Bites – Daily AI newsletter. Short, funny, and refreshingly unpretentious.
  • Hard Fork – A smart, quippy NYT podcast all about new tech.
  • The AI Breakdown - A quick daily podcast about the latest in AI news & tools
  • AI & I - Weekly interviews with fantastic thought leaders in AI

But the best tool of all? Love.

No, just kidding. It’s actually your curiosity.

So if you’re curious to learn more, reach out to us! We can recommend custom tools to fit your workflow and lifestyle with our brand new AI Tool Consultations

Now go forth and find out:

“ChatGPT, seriously, how tall is Ted Danson?”
