We’ve attended several international academic conferences representing our client’s robot, including one at "AI for Good" held near the United Nations in Geneva. For this, we created thousands of pieces of merchandise and organized giveaways and promotions.
We've conducted interviews for Convergent Research (a grantee of Schmidt Futures) and Furhat Robotics' conference. Our founder has spoken at SXSW Edu, Yale, OpenAI, and PopTech, among many other places.
We created a live show with the Psychedelic Assembly that combined descriptions of peoples’ psychedelic visuals with the power of AI video technology to “animate” trips. One trip was even animated live over the course of the show.
We’ve shot and edited an interview for Furhat robotics’ conference, given talks at the Open AI Headquarters, the Kennedy Center for the PopTech conference, Yale University, and at an ISMPP event (a group for medical writers).
In an era where science and communication often stand apart, scientists find themselves grappling with the challenge of engaging the public effectively. Whether it is climate or covid, topics in science affect the public at large and humor has been shown to increase information retention. Hello SciCom’s Science Comedy Workshop aims to bridge the gap between scientist and audience by making science accessible and entertaining. This workshop will provide practical, innovative, and personalized comedy and communication skills to STEM professionals.
We led a communications workshop for the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation that drew 1,000+ RSVPs—one of their highest-turnout webinars. Engagement stayed high throughout, and multiple attendees wrote that this was one of the best webinars they’d ever attended at RWJF, with feedback that the event was not only funny but incredibly helpful for science communicators.
On April 7th, Hello SciCom hosted a Science Comedy Workshop at Caveat in Manhattan. Attended by a wide range of STEM professionals from Neuroscientists to Aerospace Engineers, this event allowed our participants to let loose and find the humor in their messaging. A huge win for science comedy! But don't just take it from us, here are some testimonials, stats, and even a nifty video...
"I LOVED the Comedy Workshop! It gave me a totally new way to look at my field (neuroscience) and got my creative juices flowing for how I can teach others about my work with less jargon and more, well, fun!”
We have experience speech coaching a healthcare billionaire for an interview with Barack Obama, a speaker for Black in AI at the Congressional Black Caucus, and a software engineer for a comedy variety show at PubConf 2024. We also wrote the viral stump speech for North Carolina State Senate Candidate Kate Compton Barr.
We help science and tech companies communicate their ideas in a way that is clear, accessible, and engaging.
We combine science, humor, and entertainment to make STEM ideas engaging to broad audiences, without sacrificing on scientific accuracy and nuance.
