Tom Koff contributes to The Onion, and was a writer and editor at Botnik Studios. He was a math major in college, and has been described as the “bad boy” of conversational design.

Canned foods were invented because Napoleon needed a better way to feed his troops while conquering Europe (Viva la Chef Boyardee!).

Andrew Moorehead

Andrew is a writer and performer based in New York City. Andrew’s specialties include social media content, narrative storytelling and writing dialogue, having recently completed his MFA in Dramatic Writing at NYU. Previously Andrew wrote comedic board games for celebrities.

Placenta means "cake" in Latin.

Sarah Adelman

Lead Creative

Sarah Adelman is a native New Yorker, stand-up comedian, and trained as a reproductive health research scientist. She graduated Cum Laude from Dartmouth College and earned her Masters of Public Health from Columbia University in 2021, where she focused on maternal-child health disparities. She's a regular at Stand Up NY, New York Comedy Club, Greenwich Village Comedy Club, and various independent shows, and can be seen on two episodes of HBO's Game Theory.

The oldest known graffiti at Pompeii reads, “Gaius Pumidius Diphilus was here,” with a timestamp of October 3, 78 B.C.

Willa Barnett

Willa Barnett is a comedian, computer scientist, and trivia host from San Francisco, California. A recent graduate of Northwestern University, she now enjoys being exceptionally strange with her sketch group Skip Skip (@skipskipcomedy) on Instagram and TikTok. She is diving into the standup world at various mics in Brooklyn, Manhattan, and the Metaverse.

The shapely human booty is an adaptation to walking on two legs. How do you like them apple...bottoms?

Natalia Reagan

Natalia Reagan is an anthropologist, primatologist, comedian, host, producer, podcaster, professor, writer, and monkey chasing weirdo. She’s been a comedy writer & correspondent on Neil deGrasse Tyson’s StarTalk, an animal expert on Nat Geo Wild, a science expert on History’s UnXplained, and she was the co-host on Spike TV’s 10 Million Dollar Bigfoot Bounty. She currently lives in LA where she produces and performs science comedy content for herself, others, and a hyper-critical pug called Raisin.

If you harvested the iron from roughly 350 human bodies, you would have enough to forge a longsword.

Nat Towsen

Nat Towsen is a standup comedian, writer, actor, and activist from Manhattan, New York. He recently made his standup debut on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon. He is a writer/editor at the tech-comedy collective Botnik Studios. He has written for publications such as Esquire, Truthout, Vice, CollegeHumor, and the Onion.

The European robin is way smaller (and cuter) than the American robin.

James Caven

CREATIVE

James is a writer, comedian, and occasional evolutionary biologist from Richmond, Virginia. He's a graduate from Harvard, where he wrote comedy and did graphic design for The Harvard Lampoon, and has interned at The Late Show with Stephen Colbert. In between cracking jokes, he wrote an undergraduate thesis on the evolutionary biology of plastic trait adaptation in plants.

Ash from the eruption of Mount Pinatubo in 1991 lowered global temperatures by 0.5 °C for two years.

Ella Gale

CREATIVE

Ella Gale is a writer and comedian in Los Angeles. She's a former environmental engineer whose comedy writing has been published in McSweeney's, Reductress, and the Hard Times. She's a Black List Feature Lab fellow, and her short horror/comedy film HELL GIG (funded by a grant from Hornitos tequila) debuted at the Fantasia Film Festival in 2022.

If the 2014 version of Godzilla was real, it would produce 12.9 million gallons of urine per day.

Hebba Gouda

CREATIVE

Hebba graduated from Carleton College, with a degree in physics (her thesis was about the physics of Titanic and Up). She writes for the scientific game show podcast Two What's?! and a Wow!, and for the humorous lifestyle website Let's Eat Cake. She honed her comedy chops at Second City and research abilities while working at Pause with Sam Jay on HBO.

Tyrannosaurus rex lived closer in time to the present day than it did to Stegosaurus.

Jay Garcia Alver

Jay is a writer, program manager, and space policy enthusiast from Tampa, Florida. He has a degree in government and a secondary in Earth and planetary sciences from Harvard University, as well as a Master's in International Science and Technology Policy with a focus on Space Policy from George Washington University. While at Harvard, he wrote for and edited the comedy newspaper SatireV and the Harvard Political Review.
